HAVE YOU EVER STARTED SAVING FOR YOURSELF?

My story

I started working since I was 19. Like any other young women I was different. I grew up without a father to rely with when it comes to financial help. I only have my siblings and my brother in law that gave me enormous support. Since then, I would always ask myself why? why me? then I realized maybe because God has put faith in me. He knew from the start I would be disciplined enough to save money. Let me tell you about a story of  my most favorite Filipino childhood comic book "Ang Langgam at ang Tipaklong". Yes, that's it. You are free to search it on Google.

Kidding aside, It was a more practical way of saying "what you reap is what you sow". You know how carefree a grasshopper is right? They would just jump, fly and eat whatever they want.  No borders and no strict diet o well, they eat leaves (HAHA). Nothing wrong with this kind of life it is just simply not my thing. On the other side, there is an ant or are ants. It's June 15 here in the Philippines and it is raining hard. A perfect way to talk about ants huh? During summer they would line up in any corner of our house looking for food and violaaa they disappeared. Just like that. Do they fear rain? I don't know but for sure there is a one great fact. They are not gonna die out of hunger. They were able to stock so much food!

This is just my metaphor way of telling people how important it is to save. It will save us from hunger. Even if we save little by little it is still effective. Does not matter if your rate is $500 per hour or $3. What will really matter is how much portion of it are you willing to keep? Don't get all your hopes up. This is just the first step. There will be more along the way and please, DO NOT RUSH.
